Jets Rule Out Breece Hall After Fourth-Quarter Thigh Injury

Breece Hall was ruled out of the New York Jets' 31-24 loss to Detroit after sustaining a thigh injury on a tackle near the goal line in the fourth quarter. He finished with 13 carries for 32 yards and three catches for 23 yards. Hall said he "felt something" while running and again during the tackle, per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic and Brian Costello of the New York Post. Garrett Wilson went down late after a hit from multiple defenders, walked off under his own power, was evaluated for a concussion and cleared, but did not return. Braelon Allen would be next in line in the backfield if Hall misses time. The Jets' next game is Week 4 against the Bears on Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. ET at Soldier Field in Chicago.
