Matthew Stafford set the NFL career pick-six record at 33 when Talanoa Hufanga returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown with 4:49 left in the fourth, breaking Brett Favre's mark of 32. Stafford answered with a 48-yard touchdown to Konata Mumpfield to retake the lead 26-23, but the Broncos scored last and won 30-26. The Rams had led 16-0 at halftime, outgaining Denver 273-67. Stafford became the first quarterback to pass for 20,000 yards with two different teams. Josh Wallace's early fourth-quarter interception made it 19-16 Rams. Los Angeles reached the 19 in the final 42 seconds before Stafford's last throw was intercepted. CONTESTED: Coverage lists Dan Marino third with either 29 or 28 pick-sixes. Sean McVay said, "This is sports. You sign up for all of it, and love our group. Just came up short. Give the Broncos credit. They found a way to get it done." Stafford said the offense was not efficient enough throwing and that he has to be better. OptaStats' Greg Harvey said the Broncos are the only team to overcome a 13-plus point first-half shutout and score 30-plus second-half points in back-to-back seasons. Bo Nix finished with 186 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.
