The Chicago Bears will start Case Keenum against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, with Tyson Bagent as his backup. Bagent cleared concussion protocol. Jay Glazer reported Chicago chose Keenum because Bagent missed key practices and game-plan work while recovering. Keenum last started on December 24, 2023, with the Houston Texans. Caleb Williams is out with a Grade 2 hamstring injury. Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport report the injury requires roughly three to four weeks of recovery. The Bears have not placed Williams on injured reserve. The Bears lost 9-3 to the Minnesota Vikings in their prior game. Ben Johnson is the Bears offensive play caller against Vic Fangio's Eagles defense. Bagent remains available Monday night. Adam Hoge, Mark Carman and Corey Wootton joined Adam Jahns on the CHGO Bears Pregame Show broadcast live from Soldier Field.

“Bears Set Keenum to Start Against Eagles”Williams hamstring injury is a real setback for Chicago and might keep them from competing this month.
I think the Bears made the right call going with Keenum over Bagent given the missed practices.
