Isaias Remnants Expected to Bring Mid-Atlantic Rain, Wind
Denver is expected to stay sunny, warm and mostly dry through the weekend, while rain affects Colorado’s western mountains; a chance of showers may reach the east midweek before cooler weather arrives. Washington, D.C., Maryland and northern Virginia are forecast to turn wet and breezy Sunday as the remnants of Hurricane Isaias bring potentially heavy rain, localized flash-flooding concerns and a small risk of a brief tornado; conditions should improve Monday. Maryland is expected to have a comfortable, milder end to the workweek ahead of that unsettled weather. Northeast Kansas, by contrast, is forecast to remain sunny, dry and unusually warm through the weekend, with only a slight shower chance next Tuesday.
