Winless Titans’ Cam Ward threatens press walkout
After Tennessee’s 24-18 loss to Baltimore left the Titans 0-4, quarterback Cam Ward was caught on the team’s livestream warning that reporters had three minutes before he would leave the postgame press conference. He stayed and answered questions, addressing mistakes including an interception on a pass that bounced off running back Tony Pollard’s hands. Ward completed 20 of 31 passes for 222 yards, a touchdown and an interception, and led a late scoring drive that fell short. The clip drew criticism amid scrutiny of Ward and the team’s winless start, while veteran reporter Paul Kuharsky said Ward was fine and suggested the delay may have reflected reporters arriving late.
