0-4 Chargers OC McDaniel Addresses Job-Security Calls
Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel said criticism and calls for his firing come with the job as the team sits 0-4, averaging 16.8 points per game. He said the team must improve through its play, while head coach Jim Harbaugh has said McDaniel’s job is not in jeopardy. The offense has struggled under McDaniel, with quarterback Justin Herbert also off to a difficult start, and injuries along the offensive line and at receiver could complicate efforts to turn things around.
