Crashes and Road Work Cause Closures Across North America

Multiple road closures and traffic disruptions were reported across North America. Toronto’s westbound Gardiner Expressway is restricted near Park Lawn Road after a fiery two-vehicle crash; no injuries were reported, but significant delays are expected. Southbound I-25 in Denver has two right lanes closed after a four-vehicle crash involving a rollover, with an estimated 20-minute delay, while Oregon’s Historic Columbia River Highway is closed west of Multnomah Falls after a truck crash. Township Road 216 in Harrison Township, Hume Road in Perry Township, Breese Road, Sunnydale Avenue and Cable Road in Ohio, and Gulino Road in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, also have scheduled short-term closures for paving, crossover, fog-sealing or drainage-pipe work, with access, detours and timing varying by location and schedules subject to weather and field conditions. A Fayetteville man was found dead from a gunshot wound during a welfare check, according to police.
