Jets Snap 21-Game Interception Drought, Lose 23-12
The New York Jets ended a 20-game interception drought when safety Minkah Fitzpatrick picked off Chicago’s Tyson Bagent, but still lost 23-12. The team has another troubling trend: over its last eight games, it has scored no points in the final four minutes of either half, highlighting ongoing problems with its two-minute offense. Separately, five NFL teams are 0-4, tying a mark reached only six other times; the winless group includes playoff teams Houston and the Chargers, as well as Tampa Bay, Miami and Tennessee. Cleveland’s defense extended its streak without allowing a 300-yard passer to 49 games after Aaron Rodgers finished with 299 yards, leaving the Browns three games from matching the NFL record.
