Ahmad Hardy remains sidelined for Texas A&M
Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said star running back Ahmad Hardy remains unable to practice as he recovers from a gunshot wound sustained in May, and he will not be ready for Saturday’s game against Texas A&M. Drinkwitz said Hardy is not yet able to safely handle the demands of SEC play, and the team cannot predict when his body will be ready for a return. In Hardy’s absence, Jamal Roberts has taken over as Missouri’s lead back, producing three 100-yard rushing games and a three-touchdown performance against Florida. Drinkwitz praised Roberts’ ability to carry the workload while saying the team will support Hardy’s recovery without rushing it.
