Minneapolis Officer Fires During Two Carjackings; Teen Arrested
A 16-year-old was arrested in south Minneapolis after an alleged armed carjacking attempt, then theft of a second vehicle that was driven into a police squad car as officers moved to intercept it. During that contact an officer fired one shot; no one was hit. Two officers took minor injuries. The teen fled on foot before later arrest and a hospital evaluation.
