Tarantino sets Cliff Booth novel for December 2026 release
Quentin Tarantino will publish The Adventures of Cliff Booth on December 8, 2026 through Harper. The novel is a novelization of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, which Tarantino wrote and David Fincher is directing, with Brad Pitt reprising Cliff Booth. Harper’s official description reads: “Hollywood, 1977. The Swinging Sixties are long gone — but Clifford Booth keeps on keeping on…War hero, stuntman, bartender, cinema projectionist… with the occasional ‘clandestine services’ for his friends.” The film is scheduled for an IMAX release on November 25 before Netflix streaming begins December 23. Noah Eaker acquired North American rights from Tracy Fisher at William Morris Endeavor. Tarantino previously novelized Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2021 and wrote the nonfiction book Cinema Speculation. He wrote this film’s screenplay but is not directing it. What is contested: None exists. The record also notes Tarantino’s West End play The Popinjay Cavalier is set for spring 2027, with Sacha Baron Cohen set to star.
