Disney+ to Stream ESPN’s First Super Bowl Production
Disney+ will simulcast ESPN’s Super Bowl LXI coverage on Feb. 14, 2027, alongside ESPN and ABC, marking ESPN’s first production of the championship game. U.S. subscribers will have access to the English-language broadcast, called by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, and ESPN Deportes’ Spanish-language telecast; Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge will report from the sidelines. Disney+ will also stream the game in more than 55 international markets, while ESPN’s linear networks will carry it in more than 130 countries and territories. As a lead-up, Disney+ will simulcast two Monday Night Football games this season, starting with Cowboys-Eagles on Oct. 26; the second matchup has not been announced. The stream will simulcast existing ESPN/ABC advertising inventory, Disney says Disney+ viewers will be included in Nielsen measurement, and Super Bowl ad inventory has sold out.
