Son Heung-min Eyes Scoring Record in South Korea Friendly

South Korea hosts Uzbekistan in a friendly after mixed results in its international window, with Son Heung-min potentially pursuing the national scoring record and Uzbekistan seeking a third straight win. Guatemala needs a victory over Group B leader Suriname—and a Honduras win over Jamaica—to reach the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals, while a draw would be enough for Suriname to advance. Italy, third in its group, faces bottom-placed Turkey, with several key Turkish players unavailable through injury or suspension and Italy also managing absences. Rwanda takes a strong start to its AFCON qualifying campaign into a friendly against Kenya, which is still seeking its first qualifying win and will be without Michael Olunga. Liga MX rivals Guadalajara and Club América meet in an Oakland friendly during the international break, with both sides expected to draw on available squad players as some regulars are away with Mexico or recovering from injuries.
