CMA CGM imposes Hormuz surcharge

CMA CGM will apply an emergency fuel surcharge starting August 1 due to renewed tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and a rise in bunker costs, with charges ranging from $65 to $165 per container across all regions and trades. The surcharge, in effect until further notice, will impact shipments globally and applies to both dry and refrigerated containers on various routes.
