Rogers Reports Q2 Loss on MLSE Non-Cash Charge
Rogers Communications reported Q2 2026 revenue of about $5.6 billion, up 8%, with adjusted EBITDA up 3% but a net loss of $726 million attributable to shareholders after a $1.034 billion non-cash revaluation charge related to the MLSE stake deal. The company preserved its 2026 guidance for modest revenue and EBITDA growth, expects to close the MLSE acquisition this year, and plans capital expenditures of $2.5–$2.7 billion with free cash flow around $4.1–$4.3 billion along with strategic monetization of sports assets.
