Pregnant Ciara Walks Junya Watanabe Runway in Paris
Ciara came down the Junya Watanabe runway inside the chandelier. On the sixth day of Paris Fashion Week, October 3, 2026, the headpiece sat as a bedazzled helmet, then dropped crystal fringe into a chainlink sculpture that closed around her at the knees. Under it she wore purple activewear with pink accents, a thick black belt set low on the hips, and bright red patent booties. The bare bump stayed visible the whole length of the walk.
The booking had not been announced. She was 40. Vogue recorded whoops and a yessss from the crowd each time she passed. She kept moving. The same show still held other clothes for her.
One pass put her in the long-sleeved purple crop top and matching leggings, pink accents cutting the set, under a shredded leather jacket held by silver zippers and a string of pearls. The black baseball cap carried a red B and silver chains. Kota Okuda had customized that cap. It echoed Watanabe’s June menswear show, The Art of Assemblage Couture and Bling. Another pass kept the hat and swapped the jacket for a tan cape trench fastened at the neck with a belt-inspired closure. The thick black belt stayed low on the hips through every change. Bright red patent booties finished the looks. Then she traded the hat and the jacket for the chandelier.
Three looks moved through the same body on the same day. The collection was titled Funky. Luke Leitch, writing for Vogue, called it a pinch-me show that used catsuits as canvases and sampled high-glamour attitude against mid-century couture delivery. The soundtrack ran in two phases. First came Chaka Khan’s “Like Sugar.” Then Michael Jackson’s “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You.” Pat Boguslawski directed the movement. Eugene Souleiman and Isamaya Ffrench did the hair and makeup.

On September 6, 2026, Ciara and Russell Wilson posted together on Instagram. They stood beside a clothesline strung with children’s T-shirts and one small white onesie hung for the baby still on the way. The child would be her fifth. It would be her fourth with Wilson. The shirts already accounted for Sienna Princess, nine; Win Harrison, six; Amora Princess, two; and Future Zahir Wilburn, twelve, her son with ex-fiancé Future. The onesie marked the open place. That was the body that had just crossed the runway in Paris: after the clothesline, carrying the fifth.
In the delivery room in December 2023, Russell Wilson asked for five. “When I was giving birth to Amora, … he was like shortly after, ‘So cinco?’” she told Us Weekly. “I’m like, ‘Wait a minute now, like slow it down, sir. We just had a baby here.’”
They had married in 2016. In July 2026 the couple celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. That same July Wilson went public with the case he had kept making. “We have four amazing kids and I’m trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth,” he told E! News.
Ciara kept performing as the pregnancy advanced, and the humor came with her. “This baby up here bouncin’ around,” she said onstage, according to BCK Online. “This mama gonna stay movin’.” She had already ranked the larger work for Us Weekly. “I love being a mom. It’s my favorite job of all.” The longer July answer opened the same way and then kept going. “I love being a mom. It’s my favorite job of all, and I couldn’t stand here and tell you that I don’t see that happening one day in our lives to have cinco because why not? I think the greatest discovery for me is learning that I can figure it out.”
Later the same evening she arrived at the BoF500 Gala in a sheer black lace dress. The neckline plunged on delicate straps. Black satin bra panels and matching briefs sat beneath the transparent fabric. Gathering shaped the waist and hips. The lace skirt fell below the knee. The bump stayed fully readable through the floral mesh. Pointed black patent heels finished the line. An oversized sparkling cross pendant hung on layered chains beside a statement ring. Her hair fell in loose waves, honey-blonde lengths framing her face. Smoky eye makeup and a glossy nude lip completed the look, with a pale manicure. Photographers took another clear view against the gala’s grey backdrop. Sheer lace, the readable bump, and the cross pendant held the frame on the grey wall.
