Phoenix Names Interim CFO for Westblom Departure
Phoenix Education Partners CFO and Treasurer Blair Westblom will leave the company effective October 10, 2026, after its first full year as a public company. The company said the mutually agreed departure was to allow Westblom to pursue personal and professional plans and was not related to disagreements over financial reporting, internal controls, operations, policies, or practices. The board appointed Michael Cochran, the company’s senior vice president of corporate development since April, as interim CFO effective the same day. Under her separation agreement, Westblom will receive $1,137,204 in cash severance, her fiscal 2026 bonus, accelerated vesting of eligible equity awards, and an 18-month period to exercise stock options; performance stock units remain subject to their existing conditions.
