Chargers Elevate Justin Herbert's Brother from Practice Squad for Seahawks Game

The Chargers elevated tight end Patrick Herbert, quarterback Justin Herbert’s younger brother, and outside linebacker Caleb Murphy from their practice squad for a game against Seattle; both had been elevated for the previous week’s game at Buffalo. The Rams elevated cornerback Cam Lampkin and outside linebacker Darryl Peterson III for their matchup with Philadelphia, with Lampkin added after starter Jaylen Watson was ruled out with a shoulder injury; the game would be Peterson’s NFL regular-season debut. The Jets also elevated wide receiver Sterling Shepard and linebacker Jaden Keller from their practice squad.

Whose framing of this story rings truest to you?
Sterling Shepard back with the Jets at least adds veteran experience even if he's not the same player anymore.
Caleb Murphy and those other practice squad guys deserve the shot but I doubt they move the needle much in a short week.
Patrick Herbert getting the call up with his brother on the roster could make for some good family moments if he sees the field.
