Manufacturers Life Expands Holdings Across Utilities, Energy, Tech

The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company disclosed new positions in Ero Copper Corp., purchasing 559,319 shares valued at about $14.9 million in the second quarter. It also established a new stake in Consolidated Edison Inc., acquiring 246,409 shares worth roughly $27.26 million. In contrast, Manulife trimmed its stake in Applied Materials by about 1.3%, ending with 910,031 shares valued at approximately $658 million. The firm similarly reduced its holding in Becton, Dickinson and Company by 81.4% during the quarter, leaving 254,652 shares worth about $38.5 million.
