Madhya Pradesh will upgrade a 63-km Badwah–Dhamnod state highway from two lanes to four lanes at ₹2,508.21 crore, with completion targeted before Simhastha 2028. The state cabinet approved a broad ₹38,555 crore package for roads, housing, agriculture and IT, including ₹32,405 crore earmarked for road infrastructure and maintenance for 2026–2031. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced four new Fast Track Courts to handle youth-related cases, with additional courts planned for Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur under Prime Minister Modi’s directive. He emphasized a major expansion of medical education, noting a rise from five to 34 medical colleges and plans for 52 colleges with about 10,000 extra undergraduate seats. In Panna, Yadav transferred ₹210 crore to over 35 lakh welfare beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme and inaugurated development projects worth ₹184.83 crore, including a Panna Medical College slated for inauguration next year. He also highlighted Bundelkhand development efforts and the Ken-Betwa river linking project as central to stopping out-migration and boosting irrigation and prosperity.
