Lodha Q1 profit doubles, revenue near ₹5,000 cr
Lodha Developers Ltd reported a two-fold jump in Q1 net profit to about ₹1,373 crore on total income of roughly ₹5,097 crore, signaling a strong start to the fiscal year. The quarterly EBITDA margin expanded to about 38.5% from 28% a year earlier, reflecting improved operational efficiency and higher-margin project delivery. The company’s sales bookings rose around 4% to ₹4,630 crore in the quarter, underscoring sustained demand in its premium housing segments. Management flagged a long-term growth trajectory with a target of around 20% CAGR, aided by rising profitability, low leverage, and accelerating consolidation in favor of tier-1 brands like Lodha. Lodha’s footprint remains anchored in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region along with Pune and Bengaluru, with plans to launch projects in Delhi-NCR to capitalize on ongoing housing demand, reinforcing the sector’s upcycle for premium real estate.
