Katy Perry Lifetimes Tour Film Worldwide Sept Release
The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris concert film will screen in cinemas and IMAX across 70 countries starting September 2 for a limited engagement, following its Tribeca Festival premiere. Filmed over two Paris shows with a 60-camera setup, the film captures aerial choreography, visuals, behind-the-scenes footage, and a setlist of hits including Teenage Dream, California Gurls, and Firework. Trafalgar Releasing describes the release as a way for KatyCats to experience the moment on the biggest screen, expanding the tour’s reach beyond venues. The project follows a tour that sold over one million tickets across 91 shows in 23 countries and grossed about $134 million. In the UK, more than 150 cinemas will participate in the limited run, and the broader release underscores the tour’s charitable connections tied to the Firework Foundation and Music Venue Trust. The film’s Tribeca debut and Perry’s framing of the project as a celebration of resilience and gratitude to fans underpin its marketed purpose as a one-of-a-kind cinema experience.
