Hopwood Nicholas Hunter Invests $32.7M Across Five ETFs

Hopwood Nicholas Hunter disclosed new second-quarter positions across five exchange-traded funds, indicating broad diversification across bonds, developed-market equities and defense technology. The purchases included about $5.31 million of Vanguard Short-Term Bond ETF, $2.54 million of Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond ETF and $874,000 of SPDR Portfolio Aggregate Bond ETF. The firm also acquired approximately $22.01 million of Vanguard FTSE Developed Markets ETF, its second-largest holding at about 6.1% of the portfolio. In addition, it bought roughly $1.99 million of Global X Defense Tech ETF. The funds’ share prices were near their respective recent lows or highs in Friday trading, but the filings do not explain the investor’s strategy or outlook.
