Global IPOs Delayed, Abandoned Amid Market Jitters

A wave of planned IPOs has been delayed, withdrawn or reworked in 2026 as market volatility and investor demands for more disciplined valuations weaken hopes for a sustained revival in equity offerings. Australia’s Firmus scrapped a listing that would have been the country’s second-largest IPO, while U.S. companies including Clear Street, Oura, Holtec Nuclear and Bamboo Insurance also postponed or abandoned offerings. Several cited uncertain or unfavorable market conditions and said they would consider other funding or listing options.
