Family events scheduled across US campuses, cities

Colleges are using family events to bring students’ relatives onto campus and connect them with school life. Yakima Valley College’s October Family Nights will offer information on academic programs, financial aid, career services and legal rights, alongside entertainment and activities. UT Martin’s October Family Weekend will feature campus gatherings, a football game, a movie and a basketball exhibition, while Yale will provide students’ family members access to its gym under guest-use rules.
