Janney Honors Missing Nancy Guthrie at Emmys

A prediction site gave Allison Janney a 2 percent chance to win. She took Outstanding Supporting Actress for The Diplomat anyway—her eighth Emmy—and turned backstage questions toward Nancy Guthrie. THE LEAD FACT: Janney said she thinks about Nancy every day and the loss facing Savannah Guthrie's family, adding it truly took over and she thought all of America was thinking about her.
