Jalen Brunson to host SNL season 52 opener with KATSEYE

“Saturday Night Live” will premiere its 52nd season on Sept. 26 with New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson hosting for the first time after leading the team to its first NBA championship since 1973 and earning Finals MVP honors; KATSEYE will make its musical-guest debut. Dakota Johnson will host for the third time on Oct. 3, with Turnstile making its first appearance, followed by Shane Gillis hosting for the third time with Rosalía as musical guest on Oct. 10. After a two-week break, Inde Navarrette will make her hosting debut in the Halloween episode on Oct. 31, with Gracie Abrams performing for the second time. NBC has not announced additional hosts or musical guests. Cast member Chloe Fineman and writer Martin Herlihy are set to depart the show, and episodes will air at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC and stream live on Peacock.
