Detectives from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office arrested Zackary Nelson, a janitor at Daisy Elementary School, on July 21, 2026, on charges related to the manufacture of child sexual abuse material. A search warrant was executed at his residence and numerous electronic devices were seized. He was taken into custody at Daisy Elementary School and transported to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center. Nelson faces charges of sexual exploitation of a minor in connection with CSAM production. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Unit issued a warning that online exploitation is pursued in person, noting: 'If you choose to exploit children from a computer, remember that we still make house calls.
