Coker Launches Ki MMA With 32-Man Global Tournament

Scott Coker has launched a new global mixed martial arts promotion called Ki MMA, returning to the industry after leading Strikeforce and Bellator. Rich Chou will serve as the lead matchmaker, with Peter Levin as a co-founder, and the promotion plans to hold fights in a ring at events around the world. Ki MMA’s announced format includes a 32-man featherweight tournament, divided into four eight-man regional brackets whose winners advance to the semifinals. The promotion is expected to begin operating in early 2027, though additional details about its roster, schedule and financial backing remain forthcoming.
