Thomas FitzJames FitzGerald, 7th Earl of Desmond, called 'Thomas of Drogheda', not to be confused with his cousin, Thomas FitzGerald (1421-1477) Lord Justice of Ireland also known as the Great Earl. Thomas FitzJames FitzGerald was the son of James FitzGerald, 6th Earl of Desmond and Mary de Burgh.
