The Life of a Showgirl is the twelfth studio album by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was released on October 3, 2025, through Republic Records. Swift wrote and produced the album with Max Martin and Shellback, recording it in Sweden during the European leg of the Eras Tour in 2024. Inspired by the tour and her romantic relationship with the football player Travis Kelce, she conceived The Life of a Showgirl as a vibrant and lively album reflecting her state of mind at the time.
