Sérgio Praia (born Ovar, July 2, 1977) is a Portuguese actor.

Biography
He was born in the city of Ovar, in the Aveiro District, on July 2, 1977. As a child, he was very outgoing and showed an interest in the arts and performance. He took ballet classes for many years.
Pursuing his dream, he decided to leave home at the age of 16 and go to Porto. For several days, he would perform ballet sequences in front of the São João National Theatre, hoping someone would invite him inside. Later, he returned to Ovar—though not to Furadouro or his parents' home—to complete the ninth grade. He succeeded in getting into António Capelo's drama school.
