Medina, officially the Municipality of Medina (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Medina; Tagalog: Bayan ng Medina), is a municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines.According to the 2020 census, in 2020 it has the population approximately of 35,612 and according to the 2024 census, in 2024 it has a population of approximately 36,692 people.
The town got its name from Medina-Sidonia, Spain, after the Spaniards noticed the similarities of the features of the place with the ones in Medina-Sidonia.
