Life and career
Born in New York City, Kober began her acting career in the late 1970s in an episode of the series Special Treat, an NBC production. In 1981, she played Sandra, a young woman who falls victim to Jason Voorhees in the horror film Friday the 13th Part 2. A scene was initially filmed in which Kober appeared completely nude, but the footage was cut from the final version because the actress had not yet reached the age of majority at the time.
She subsequently appeared in films such as Baby, It's You (1983), as well as in TV movies and episodes of series such as Happy Days, Magnum, P.I., and Matlock. She was cast as the lead character Tina in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1987); however, upon discovering that Kober had already appeared in the second film, the producers replaced her with Lar Park Lincoln. In the 1990s, the actress returned to the horror genre in Slumber Party Massacre III and made brief appearances in the TV series Full House and Law & Order; since then, she has remained out of the public eye.
