Elizabeth Catherine Shore, Lady Shore of Stepney, was a British general practitioner and civil servant who served as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the United Kingdom from 1977 to 1985. She introduced measures to encourage women doctors to return to work after having children, and support their promotion within the health service.
