George Anderson Mercer

George Anderson Mercer was an American lawyer and Confederate lieutenant in the American Civil War. One of the "most honored and distinguished citizens" of Savannah, Georgia, he served in the Georgia legislature between 1872 and 1874, and was United States district judge for the southern district of Georgia.
