FCA taps Anthropic for AI Supercharged Sandbox
The UK Financial Conduct Authority is expanding its Supercharged Sandbox by partnering with Anthropic to support a second cohort of 21 firms, providing access to Claude tools to test AI in a controlled environment and explore use cases from widening financial services access to vulnerable consumers to fraud detection and automation; demand rose 51% with 199 applications, and the FCA also launched the Agentic Academy to build in-house AI capability.
