About Henry M. Duffield
Henry Martyn Duffield was a colonel in the Union Army during the American Civil War, lawyer, candidate for U.S. Representative from Michigan's 1st district in 1876; brigadier general of U.S. Volunteers during the Spanish–American War, presidential elector for Michigan in 1904, and a member of the Grand Army of the Republic.
