About Edward Lake
Sir Edward Lake, 1st Baronet was a lawyer who became advocate general of Ireland. He was a Royalist, badly wounded in the Battle of Edgehill, and was the first of the Lake baronets. Sir Edward also became chancellor and vicar General of the diocese of Lincoln, England.
