Reports detail Amazon's $3 billion India quick-commerce investment plan
Amazon reportedly plans to invest $3 billion in India’s quick-commerce business by 2030, expanding its neighborhood warehouse network and investing in inventory systems, AI forecasting and product selection. The move comes as Amazon trails local rivals that dominate the fast-growing market; the company declined to confirm the investment figure but said the business has exceeded $1 billion in annualized gross sales.
