Ukraine dismisses Baku talks between ex-Russian, German officials

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry dismissed a reported secret meeting in Baku between former German and Russian officials as insignificant and not authorized to speak on Ukraine's behalf, stressing it has no bearing on peace talks. Azerbaijan's president confirmed the gathering occurred without official Azerbaijani knowledge, but officials emphasized it did not represent official negotiations.
